With the win, Sulligent improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Pickens Academy (Carrollton, AL) to encounter the Pirates in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Pirates go into the battle with a record of 0-1.

The Wildcats now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hubbertville for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Berry will face a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Brilliant (Brilliant, AL). The Lions record now stands at 1-1.
