In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Lake City Trojans volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Boyne City Ramblers.

The Trojans (9-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Kalkaska (Kalkaska, MI). The Blazers enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Kalkaska was beaten by Petoskey (Petoskey, MI), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Ramblers meet the Cheboygan Chiefs (Cheboygan, MI) in a Lake Michigan challenge, on Thursday, August 28. Boyne City will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Chiefs enter the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Central Lake (Central Lake, MI).
