The Buccaneers now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to University for a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 27. Buckhannon-Upshur will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hampshire (Romney, WV). The Hawks record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Preston drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to North Marion (Farmington, WV) to confront the Huskies in a Two Rivers match on Tuesday, August 26. The Huskies enter the match with a record of 0-1. North Marion lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Clay-Battelle (Blacksville, WV)
