North Carolina High School Volleyball - Salisbury bounced by Carson

The Salisbury Hornets volleyball squad (Salisbury, NC), dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC)

With the win, Carson improves its record to 9-2 on the season. The Cougars host East Rowan (Salisbury, NC) to battle the Mustangs in a South Piedmont 4A/5A contest on Thursday, August 28. The Mustangs enter the contest with a record of 4-4. East Rowan won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Jay M. Robinson (Concord, NC)

Next, the Hornets battle the North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, August 27. Salisbury will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Cavaliers go into the battle with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Concord (Concord, NC).
