In Tuesday's league match, the Dyer County Choctaws (Newbern, TN) volleyball squad overcame the host Obion County Rebels (Troy, TN), by a count of 3-0.
Next up, the Choctaws battle the Dyersburg Trojans (Dyersburg, TN) in a AA District 13 match, on Thursday, August 28. Dyer County will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 3-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Trinity Christian Academy (Jackson, TN).
