With the win, East Marion advances its record to 10-6 on the season. The Eagles host Salem (Tylertown, MS) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 28. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 9-3.

Next, the Jaguars play the Sumrall Bobcats (Sumrall, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Jefferson Davis County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
