The Edison Tigers edged the host Sunnyside Wildcats volleyball team by a tally of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Tigers now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Madera South for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2. Edison will play a Stallions team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Caruthers (Caruthers, CA). The Stallions record now stands at 0-4.

The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Sierra Pacific (Hanford, CA). The Golden Bears go into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Sierra Pacific nudged Tulare Western (Tulare, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
