Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Elbert County Blue Devils (Elberton, GA) and the host Greene County Tigers (Greensboro, GA), observed Elbert County's volleyball team top Greene County by a count of 2-0.

The Blue Devils (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Cedar Shoals was knocked off by Athens Christian (Athens, GA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Tigers battle the Westminster Christian Academy Lions (Watkinsville, GA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 28. Greene County will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Lions go into the battle with a 2-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Augusta Prep (Augusta, GA).
