With the win, Jackson improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Aggies host Excel (Excel, AL) to face the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 28. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Excel won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Red Level (Red Level, AL)

Next, the Blue Devils meet the St. Michael Catholic Cardinals (Fairhope, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Escambia County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Saraland (Saraland, AL).
