In Tuesday's non-league match, the Nevis Tigers (Nevis, MN) volleyball squad tipped the host Fosston Greyhounds (Fosston, MN), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Lake of the Woods Bears (Baudette, MN) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 28. Nevis will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Bears enter the match with a 2-4 record after their 3-1 league loss to Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] (Newfolden, MN).

The Greyhounds (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Red Lake County Central (Oklee, MN). The Mustangs enter the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Red Lake County Central tipped Cass Lake-Bena (Cass Lake, MN), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
