Kentucky High School Volleyball - Great Crossing over Frankfort

August 26, 2025: Georgetown, KY

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Great Crossing Warhawks (Georgetown, KY) and the visiting Frankfort Panthers (Frankfort, KY), observed Great Crossing's volleyball team top Frankfort by a count of 3-0.

The Warhawks (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Western Hills (Frankfort, KY). The Wolverines go into the District 41 battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Western Hills achieved victory over Spencer County (Taylorsville, KY), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Panthers now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodford County for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 28. Frankfort will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Shelby County (Shelbyville, KY). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-1.
