Texas High School Volleyball - Nimitz tips Grand Prairie

The Nimitz Vikings volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Grand Prairie Gophers to 2 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now possess a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Terrell for a non-league outing on Friday, August 29. Nimitz will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 2-3.

The Gophers (9-5) will now prepare for their match against Carter-Riverside (Fort Worth, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league match with a 7-8 record. In their last match, Carter-Riverside held off Western Hills (Fort Worth, TX), 3-1, in a non-league match.
