North Carolina High School Volleyball - South Johnston overwhelmed by Harnett Central

August 26, 2025: Angier, NC 27501

Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Trojans (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC). The Colts come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Cape Fear beat Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Trojans confront the Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) in a Carolina Pines 6A game, on Thursday, August 28. South Johnston will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 6-1 record after their 3-2 league win over West Johnston (Benson, NC).
