Heard County Braves (Franklin, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Heard County improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Braves host Model (Rome, GA) to meet the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 17-3. Model won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Dalton Academy (Dalton, GA)

The Grangers now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sandy Creek for a 3A Area 2 test on Tuesday, September 2. LaGrange will face a Patriots team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 3-13.
