California High School Volleyball - Hilltop bounced by University City

The Hilltop Lancers volleyball squad (Chula Vista, CA), was defeated 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting University City Centurions (San Diego, CA)

With the win, University City improves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Centurions host Del Norte (San Diego, CA) to meet the Nighthawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 2. The Nighthawks enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. Del Norte won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA)

The Lancers now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Foothills Christian for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Hilltop will face a Knights squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Grossmont (El Cajon, CA). The Knights record now stands at 2-2.
