The Quarry Lane Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Holy Names Monarchs to 0 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host The Bay School for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 28. Quarry Lane will play a Breakers team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Balboa (San Francisco, CA). The Breakers record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Holy Names drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Monarchs travel to Bentley (Lafayette, CA) to confront the Phoenix in a non-league game on Wednesday, August 27. The Phoenix go into the game with a record of 2-0. Bentley won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Summit Tamalpais (Richmond, CA)
