South Carolina High School Volleyball - James Island overwhelmed by Lucy Beckham

Lucy Beckham Bengals (Mt. Pleasant, SC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bengals (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Bishop England (Charleston, SC). The Battling Bishops go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Bishop England gained a win over Carolina Forest (Myrtle Beach, SC), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Trojans now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cane Bay for a non-league game on Thursday, August 28. James Island will face a Cobras squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to West Ashley (Charleston, SC). The Cobras record now stands at 3-1.
