The Golden Bears (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, AL). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Jacksonville was beaten by Glencoe (Glencoe, AL), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Panthers meet the Clay-Chalkville Cougars (Pinson, AL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 26. Pell City will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 1-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Covenant Christian (Tuscumbia, AL).
