Ohio High School Volleyball - Waterloo tips Lowellville

August 26, 2025: Atwater, OH 44201

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Waterloo Vikings (Atwater, OH) and the visiting Lowellville Rockets (Lowellville, OH), observed Waterloo's volleyball team hold off Lowellville by a count of 3-2.

With the win, Waterloo improves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Vikings host Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH) to face the Rams in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet test on Tuesday, September 2. The Rams go into the test with a record of 3-1. Mineral Ridge won 3-0 in their recent league test against McKinley (Sebring, OH)

The Rockets now have a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Springfield for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet challenge on Thursday, August 28. Lowellville will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 league loss to McDonald (McDonald, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 1-3.
