Indiana High School Volleyball - Southern Wells over Monroe Central

August 26, 2025: Poneto, IN 46781

In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Southern Wells Raiders volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Monroe Central Golden Bears.

With the win, Southern Wells improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Raiders travel to Mississinewa (Gas City, IN) to face the Indians in a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. The Indians go into the test with a record of 6-1. Mississinewa lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Northfield (Wabash, IN)

The Golden Bears now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union for a Mid-Eastern test on Wednesday, August 27. Monroe Central will face a Rockets squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Wes-Del (Gaston, IN). The Rockets record now stands at 1-2.
