South Carolina High School Volleyball - Northwood Academy can't get by Porter-Gaud

Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Northwood Academy Chargers (Charleston, SC), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Porter-Gaud advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Cyclones host River Bluff (Lexington, SC) to face the Gators in a non-league test on Friday, August 29. The Gators go into the test with a record of 6-2. River Bluff won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC)

The Chargers now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hammond for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Northwood Academy will play a Skyhawks team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Spring Valley (Columbia, SC). The Skyhawks record now stands at 0-2.
