With the win, Rockbridge County advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA) to face the Green Hornets in a Shenandoah test on Tuesday, September 2. The Green Hornets go into the test with a record of 2-0. Wilson Memorial won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA)

Next, the Fighting Blues play the Roanoke Catholic Celtics (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 28. Parry McCluer will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Celtics come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Salem (Salem, VA).
