In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Purvis Tornadoes volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Vancleave Bulldogs.

The Tornadoes (13-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS). The War Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Wayne County was beaten by East Central (Moss Point, MS), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stone for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Vancleave will face a Tomcats squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Northeast Jones (Laurel, MS). The Tomcats record now stands at 12-4.
