Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Woodland Baptist Christian Eagles (Winston-Salem, NC) and the host Shining Light Academy Knights (Greensboro, NC), observed Woodland Baptist Christian's volleyball team top Shining Light Academy by a count of 3-1.

The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Oak Level Baptist Academy (Stokesdale, NC). The Conquerors enter the NCCSA A District 3 - East Region battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Oak Level Baptist Academy achieved victory over Shining Light Academy (Greensboro, NC), 3-2, in a league battle.

The Knights now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount Calvary Christian for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 28. Shining Light Academy will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Matthews Christian Academy (Matthews, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 0-3.
