The West Union Eagles (Myrtle, MS) volleyball knocked off the host South Pontotoc Cougars (Pontotoc, MS), 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Byers for a Class 1A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, September 2. West Union will battle a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS). The Lions record now stands at 1-2.
