The Southern Wayne Saints volleyball squad (Dudley, NC), dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Southern Nash Firebirds (Bailey, NC)

With the win, Southern Nash improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Firebirds travel to C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC) to encounter the Golden Falcons in a Big East 5A/6A battle on Thursday, August 28. The Golden Falcons go into the battle with a record of 2-4. C.B. Aycock won 3-2 in their recent non-league battle against Princeton (Princeton, NC)

The Saints now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hunt for a Big East 5A/6A battle on Thursday, August 28. Southern Wayne will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Bunn (Bunn, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 1-5.
