In Saturday's non-league contest, the Appleton East Patriots (Appleton, WI) volleyball squad nudged the host St. Mary's Springs Ledgers (Fond du Lac, WI), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Patriots battle the Notre Dame Academy Tritons (Green Bay, WI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 27. Appleton East will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Tritons go into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Randolph (Randolph, WI).

With the loss, St. Mary's Springs moves to 1-3 on the year. The Ledgers travel to North Fond du Lac (North Fond du Lac, WI) to battle the Orioles in a Flyway contest on Thursday, September 1. The Orioles go into the contest with a record of 0-2.
