The Longhorns (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against White Pine (Ely, NV). The Bobcats come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, White Pine nudged Tonopah (Tonopah, NV), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats encounter the Wells Leopards (Wells, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 1. Wendover will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Leopards come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Smith Valley (Smith, NV).
