Illinois High School Volleyball - Massac County over Benton

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Massac County Patriots (Metropolis, IL) volleyball squad were winner over the host Benton Rangers (Benton, IL), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Patriots face the Edwards County Lions (Albion, IL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 30. Massac County will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Mt. Carmel (Mt. Carmel, IL).

With the loss, Benton moves to 2-4 on the year. The Rangers travel to Frankfort (West Frankfort, IL) to face the Redbirds in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 27. The Redbirds go into the contest with a record of 1-1. Frankfort won 2-1 in their recent league contest against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, IL)
