The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Ethan Rustlers (Ethan, SD) and the host Irene/Wakonda Eagles (Irene, SD), saw Ethan's volleyball squad beat Irene/Wakonda by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Ethan upgrades its record to 2-3 on the year. The Rustlers host Kimball/White Lake (Kimball, SD) to play the Wildkats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 30. The Wildkats go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Kimball/White Lake won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Centerville (Centerville, SD)

The Eagles now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Freeman for a B Region 5 bout on Tuesday, August 30. Irene/Wakonda will play a Flyers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Corsica/Stickney (Corsica, SD). The Flyers record now stands at 2-1.
