The Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX) volleyball overcame the host Fort Bend Bush Broncos (Richmond, TX), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Fort Bend Hightower upgrades its record to 11-7 on the year. The Hurricanes host Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX) to face the Panthers in a 6A Region III District 20 outing on Tuesday, August 30. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 18-5. Ridge Point won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX)
