In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Payton College Prep Grizzlies volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Glenbard South Raiders.

The Grizzlies (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against West Aurora (Aurora, IL). The Blackhawks come into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, West Aurora was edged by Kaneland (Maple Park, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Raiders clash with the Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 27. Glenbard South will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Spartans come into the battle with a 0-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL).
