The Saint Jo Panthers held off the visiting Hico Tigers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Panthers now have a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Savoy for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 30. Saint Jo will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Sam Rayburn (Ivanhoe, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-6.

The Tigers (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Comanche (Comanche, TX). The Indians enter the non-league test with a 1-7 record.
