The Plains Cowboys (Plains, TX) volleyball nudged the visiting Klondike Cougars (Lamesa, TX), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Plains upgrades its record to 19-6 on the year. The Cowboys travel to Big Spring (Big Spring, TX) to face the Steers in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 27. The Steers go into the outing with a record of 3-4. Big Spring won 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Brownfield (Brownfield, TX)

The Cougars now own a 15-12 record. They play next when they travel to Levelland for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 27. Klondike will face a Lobos squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Idalou (Idalou, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 10-11.
