Texas High School Volleyball - Morton Ranch tips Lamar

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Morton Ranch Mavericks (Katy, TX) volleyball squad edged the host Lamar Texans (Houston, TX), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Mavericks battle the Heights Bulldogs (Houston, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 27. Morton Ranch will attempt to better on its 14-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 15-7 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Carnegie Vanguard (Houston, TX).

With the loss, Lamar drops to 3-10 on the campaign. The Texans travel to Alief Hastings (Houston, TX) to face the Bears in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 27. The Bears go into the outing with a record of 8-6. Alief Hastings won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Spring Woods (Houston, TX)
