In Saturday's non-league contest, the West Creek Coyote (Clarksville, TN) volleyball squad were winner over the host Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet Royals (Nashville, TN), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Coyote battle the Creek Wood Red Hawks (Charlotte, TN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 27. West Creek will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Red Hawks go into the contest with a 6-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Stewart County (Dover, TN).

With the loss, Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet moves to 0-2 on the year. The Royals host Pearl-Cohn (Nashville, TN) to battle the Firebirds in a AA District 10 contest on Tuesday, August 30. The Firebirds go into the contest with a record of 0-0.
