Texas High School Volleyball - New Caney nudged by West Brook

The West Brook Bruins volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting New Caney Eagles to 1 in the Bruins non-league victory on Saturday.

The Bruins now have a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Liberty for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 30. West Brook will meet a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Nimitz (Houston, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 12-9.

The Eagles (4-13) will now prepare for their game against The Woodlands (The Woodlands, TX). The Highlanders enter the 6A Region II District 13 game with a 21-8 record. In their last game, The Woodlands was nudged by Westlake (Austin, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
