Mississippi High School Volleyball - Puckett over Pearl

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Puckett Wolves (Puckett, MS) volleyball squad were victorious over the host Pearl Pirates (Pearl, MS), by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Puckett upgrades its record to 2-2 on the year. The Wolves travel to Hartfield Academy (Flowood, MS) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 27. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Hartfield Academy lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Madison-Ridgeland Academy (Madison, MS)

The Pirates now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Terry for a Class 6 Region 6 bout on Monday, August 29. Pearl will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Piney Woods (Piney Woods, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-2.
