Next up, the Monarchs face the Bethel Bruins (Hampton, VA) in a Peninsula game, on Thursday, August 29. Menchville will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Bruins go into the game with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Warwick (Newport News, VA).

The Hurricanes (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Denbigh (Newport News, VA). The Patriots go into the Peninsula game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Denbigh gained a win over Phoebus (Hampton, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
