West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK) followers went home pleased Tuesday as they saw their flag football team gain a win over the visiting Dimond Lynx (Anchorage, AK), 24-0 in a league battle.

With the win, West Anchorage advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Eagle River (Eagle River, AK) to play the Wolves in a Cook Inlet battle on Saturday, August 31. The Wolves go into the battle with a record of 2-3. Eagle River won 18-0 in their recent league battle against Bartlett (Anchorage, AK)

The Lynx now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Bettye Davis East Anchorage for a Cook Inlet battle on Thursday, August 29. Dimond will play a Thunderbirds team coming off a 16-6 league loss to South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 0-5.
