With the triumph, Marshall moves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host Denfeld (Duluth, MN) to clash with the Hunters in a Class A Section 7 test on Saturday, September 7. The Hunters come into the test with a record of 0-1.

The Hawks now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Proctor for a Class A Section 7 test on Thursday, August 29. Hermantown will clash with a Rails team coming off a 2-1 league win over Hibbing (Hibbing, MN). The Rails record now stands at 1-1.
