With the triumph, Menifee County advances its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Boyd County (Ashland, KY) to clash with the Lions in a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. The Lions come into the test with a record of 3-1. Boyd County won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Bath County (Owingsville, KY)

The Cougars now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Perry County Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3.
