Troy Trojans (Troy, PA) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Towanda Black Knights (Towanda, PA), 8-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Troy advances its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Montoursville (Montoursville, PA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 0-1. Montoursville lost 4-0 in their recent league test against Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA)

The Black Knights now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Athens for a PIAA District IV-AAA test on Thursday, August 29. Towanda will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 league win over Wellsboro (Wellsboro, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
