North Carolina High School Volleyball - Charlotte Catholic tips Providence

In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Charlotte Catholic Cougars volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Providence Panthers.

The Cougars (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Sabres enter the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, South Mecklenburg got by Olympic (Charlotte, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 29. Providence will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Chambers (Charlotte, NC).
