North Carolina High School Volleyball - East Burke Maiden

Maiden Blue Devils (Maiden, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Maiden improves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league test on Wednesday, August 28. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 0-5. Alexander Central lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against South Iredell (Statesville, NC)

The Cavaliers now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bandys for a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. East Burke will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 5-2.
