In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Newton Local Indians soccer squad scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Preble Shawnee Arrows.
The Indians (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against Tri-County North (Lewisburg, OH). The Panthers go into the Western Ohio Athletic outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Tri-County North got by Franklin Monroe (Pitsburg, OH), 3-2, in a league outing.
In their next game, the Arrows meet the Twin Valley South Panthers (West Alexandria, OH) in a Western Ohio Athletic match, on Thursday, August 29. Preble Shawnee will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Carlisle (Carlisle, OH).
