The West Laurens Raiders softball team scored 23 runs and held the host Baldwin Braves to 2 in the Raiders league win on Tuesday.

The Raiders now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harlem for a 3A Region 4 battle on Thursday, August 29. West Laurens will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Greenbrier (Evans, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, Baldwin moves to 0-3 on the season. The Braves host Westside (Augusta, GA) to encounter the Patriots in a 3A Region 4 battle on Thursday, August 29. The Patriots come into the battle with a record of 0-3. Westside lost 15-0 in their recent league battle against Howard (Macon, GA)
