In Tuesday's league test, the Cass Colonels (White, GA) softball squad routed the visiting Woodland Wildcats (Cartersville, GA), by a margin of 13-0.

The Colonels now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cartersville for a 4A Region 7 battle on Thursday, August 29. Cass will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 13-1 league win over Dalton (Dalton, GA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 10-2.

With the loss, Woodland moves to 3-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Cedartown (Cedartown, GA) to confront the Bulldogs in a 4A Region 7 battle on Thursday, August 29. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 11-3. Cedartown won 15-3 in their recent league battle against Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA)
