The Cook Hornets overwhelmed the host Crisp County Cougars softball squad by a count of 5-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Hornets meet the Seminole County Indians (Donalsonville, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 3. Cook will attempt to upgrade on its 10-1 season record.

The Cougars (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA). The Warriors go into the 2A Region 3 challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Tattnall County was routed by Pierce County (Blackshear, GA), 10-0, in a league challenge.
