The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Walton Raiders (Marietta, GA) and the visiting Etowah Eagles (Woodstock, GA), observed Walton's softball team get by Etowah by a final score of 5-3.

The Raiders (8-8) will now prepare for their bout against North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA). The Warriors go into the 6A Region 5 bout with a 11-1 record. In their last bout, North Cobb tipped Wheeler (Marietta, GA), 10-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Mount Paran Christian Eagles (Kennesaw, GA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, August 28. Etowah will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Hillgrove (Powder Springs, GA).
